Following unprecedented numbers attending the club for last night’s football, the committee had to take the regrettable decision to close the doors early and not allow entry to any further members or guests.

We would like to apologise to anybody that didn’t make it in.

This decision was not taken lightly but it was with the safety of all in mind as we had reached absolute capacity.

We were not the only establishment to have to turn people away, but we are disappointed that this inevitably included some of our loyal members and their guests.

We can assure you that we will not be caught out like that again, and we will have more robust entry requirements in place for future events.
